Andrew Marshall Brown played three seasons of baseball at Newman Smith High School in Carrollton, TX...Hit .398 while hitting 11 home runs and 15 doubles as a senior. Began his collegiate career at Paris Junior College in Paris, TX...Earned First-Team NJCAA Region 14 honors in 2005 hitting .404 with 18 home runs 55,RBI 20 doubles and 49 runs scored. Transferred to the University of Nebraska in 2006 and earned Second-Team All-Big 12 honors, hitting .298 with nine home runs and 30 RBI in 47 games. Played primarily first base. As a senior he hit .329 with 10 home runs and 44 RBI.
