Originally selected by San Francisco in the 1st round (#22 overall) of the 2007 First Year Player Draft…Ranked by Baseball America as the 33rd-best pro prospect following his senior year of high school after he went 12-0 with a 1.05 ERA with 111 strikeouts in 73.0 innings…Led Horizon High School to the Arizona 5A title in 2007.

2013

Posted best K/9 (8.2) and K/BB (3.68) since his debut in rookie ball in 2007...Began the season in the PIT organization, going 4-1 with a 2.43 ERA (55.2IP, 15ER) in 29 relief appearances between Double-A
Altoona (7G) and Triple-A Indianapolis (22)...Acquired by the Orioles, July 12 and made 15 appearances (1GS) for Triple-A Norfolk...Pitched to a 3.76 ERA (26.1IP, 11ER) in his final 11 appearances, July 31-August 30.
