Started the season on the Triple-A Rochester roster but did not appear before their season started, due to recall by Minnesota 4/7...Recorded his first major league win 4/27 vs. Texas, tossing 5.0 shutout innings with five hits allowed, one walk and three strikeouts...Appeared in eight games (5 starts) for the Twins, before being optioned to Triple-A Rochester 5/20...Appeared in eight games (7 starts) for the Red Wings, before being recalled by Minnesota 6/23...made the start that day at Cleveland, earning the win as the Twins placed Mike Pelfrey on the 15-day disabled list...optioned back to Rochester after the game...Placed on 7-day disabled list 7/11 with a left forearm strain...made two appearances on rehab assignment with GCL Twins and reinstated 8/19...transferred to Double-A New Britain and went 1-0, 0.82 ERA (11.0 IP, 1 ER) in two starts.
