Signed on February 9, 2007 by Rockies scouts Rolando Fernandez, Felix Feliz and Martin Jose.


Played in 123 games for Tulsa, making 105 starts at second base...set career-highs in games, triples (6), home runs (10), walks (30), slugging percentage (.422) and extra-base hits (37) in 2013...Was a Mid-Season and Post-Season All-Star for the Drillers...Hit .344 (78-for-227) in 62 home games with 9 of his 10 home runs coming at the Drillers home park...Best month of the season was May where he hit .320 (32-for-100) with 4 home runs in 27 games...Spent the majority of the season as the Drillers' regular second baseman, but also saw limited time at shortstop.


Spent the entire season at Double-A Tulsa playing in 118 games...was their primary second baseman for 82 games...was his first action at the Double-A level...52 RBI marked his third-straight season to have at least 50 RBI.


Spent the entired season at High-A Modesto where he set career highs in nearly every offensive category...was the every day second baseman for the Nuts and finished with the fourth-most stolen bases and the fifth-highest batting average...hit .310 vs. left and .290 vs. right...was a .300 hitter in the No. 2 slot in the batting order where he saw the most at-bats throughout the season...had the fewest errors (10) among all Nuts every day infielders.


Was the primary second baseman for Low-A Asheville while also hitting in primarily the second spot in the order...was named a South Atlantic All-Star after hitting .286 with 24 RBI and 26 runs in the first half...set career highs in games, at-bats, runs, hits, home runs, RBI and tied his career high in triples and stolen bases...his 24 stolen bases were fifth-most in the Rockies organization.


In his first professional season in the States, hit .295 (41-for-139) in 36 games for the Casper Ghosts...was the club's regular second baseman before sustaining an injury in August, which forced him to sit out the remainder of the season...hit .459 (17-for-37) off left-handed pitching, compared to .235 (24-for-102) against righties.


Appeared in just 24 games for Casper before being placed on the DL in late July, where he would spend the rest of the season…split time between second and third base.


Was the Rockies' best hitter in 2007 as he led the team in average (.323), hits (82), doubles (19) and RBI (43)…went 24-for-32 in stolen base attempts…drove in season-best 5 RBI on 6/26 at the Cubs.
