The Marlins made several moves to clarify their roster on Tuesday, optioning four players to Triple-A New Orleans and reassigning five others to their Minor League camp.

Combined at Single-A Tampa and Double-A Trenton to hit .213 (42-for-197) with 4 doubles, 1 triple and 4HR…batted .233 (30-for-129) in 36 games with Tampa, before being promoted to Trenton on 6/18...appeared in 19G as a catcher with the Thunder and hit .176 (12-for-68)…caught 7-of-33 potential base stealers (21.2%)…also played in 20G with the Aguilas del Zulia of the Venezuelan Winter League and hit .288 (15-for-52) with 2 doubles, 1HR, 7RBI and 7R while playing C and 1B.
