Spent most of the season at Louisville, where he led the Bats and ranked seventh in the organization in hitting (.274)...during 3 stints with the Reds made 6 of his 9 apps as a pinch hitter...from 6/7-6/10 made 2 pinch-hit apps (6/7 & 6/8 vs StL)...did not make an appearance while he was on the roster from 6/25-6/27, when Brandon Phillips was on paternity leave...returned to the club on 9/1 and made 7 more apps...was not on the Reds' Wild Card playoff roster...was named the organization's Minor League Player of the Month for August (27g, .396, 4sb)...on 8/2 vs Syracuse had 5 hits, the most by a Bats batter all season...his 5rbi on 5/12 vs Buffalo tied the team high...at Louisville made 61 apps at 3B and 63 apps at 2B...played for Zulia and Caracas in the Venezuelan Winter League (49g, .258, 5 2b, 2hr, 26rbi, 2sb).
