Began the season with Double-A Richmond in the SF system, posting a 3.34 ERA (32.1IP, 12ER) as 12.2K/9.0IP in 14 games (2 GS)... Made second and final start for Richmond on May 27, striking out season-high 8 at Altoona...Promoted to Triple-A Fresno where he struck out 51 in 57.0IP over 23 appearances (5 GS)...Overall, held right-handed hitters to a line of .230/.284/.326 in 196 plate appearances.

2012

Split his seventh professional season between Double-A Frisco and Triple-A Round Rock, combining for a 4-1 record with a 3.54 ERA (56.0IP, 22ER) in 35 relief appearances…Pitched at the Triple-A level for the first time in his career…Landed on the DL twice with inflammation in his right elbow (June 20-27 and July 16-23)…Was a NRI to Rangers spring training for the second consecutive time.
