Aaron James Barrett...Is a University of Mississippi alum...Went 7-6 with a 5.41 ERA in two seasons for Ole Miss...As a junior, anchored the Rebels weekend rotation with Drew Pomeranz and pocketed victories at the expense of No. 2 Florida, No. 8 Louisville, No. 9 Arkansas and No. 20 Kentucky... Pitched at Wabash Valley (IN) College before signing with Ole Miss...Is a 2006 graduate of Central (IN) High...Resides in Atlanta with his wife, Kendyl.

2014

Made the Major League club out of Spring Training...Earned the win in his MLB debut on Opening Day...Entered the game in the bottom of the ninth of a 5-5 tie with NYM and proceeded to retire the side (K, F9, K)...Ranked fourth among rookie relievers in strikeouts per nine innings (10.84)...
