The Reds have invited the following players to 2016 Major League Spring Training camp: pitchers Timothy Adleman, Drew Hayes, Cody Reed, Layne Somsen, Nick Travieso and Zack Weiss; catchers Joe Hudson and Chad Wallach; infielders Alex Blandino and Carlton Daal; and outfielders Phillip Ervin and Jesse Winker.

Spent the season at Class AA Pensacola, where his 51 apps tied for the Southern League lead...following the season pitched for Glendale in the prestigious Arizona Fall League (11g, 2-0, 0.82, 11ip, 7h, 7bb, 11k, 0hr)...attended his first Major League spring training camp.

2012 At Class AA Pensacola ranked among the Southern League leaders in apps (56, 2nd) and holds (11, T2nd)...following the season pitched for the Peoria Javelinas in the prestigious Arizona Fall League (11g, 1gs, 2-0-0, 4.50, 14ip, 13h, 8bb, 11k, 1hb, 0hr). 2011 At Class AA Dayton was a Midwest League All-Star...in 51 relief apps went 2-2, 1.35 and converted 22 saves in 23 chances...in his last 17 apps of the season allowed just 1 run in 19.1ip (9h, 6bb, 26k)...recorded 89 strikeouts in just 60.0 innings...received the organization's Community Service Award. 2010 In his first professional season posted a 2.42 ERA in 14 relief apps for Billings...in his final appearance of the season allowed 3 runs...his overall ERA in his other 13g was 1.35...opponents hit just .173.
