Graduated from De La Salle High School in Concordia, California. 2011 Pitched for the Giants' Class AA affiliate in Richmond for most of the season...in 22 starts there went 6-10, 4.29 with 1 complete game before he was designated for assignment and then released on 8/31...the next day was signed by the Reds and assigned to Louisville, where he made his first career Class AAA appearance...in the 5-3 Bats win on 9/4 vs Indianapolis threw 3.0 scoreless innings in relief. 2010 Spent entire season with double-A Richmond Flying Squirrels, posting 9-9 record with 3.68 ERA (61er, 149.0ip) in 27 games as starter ... Was 6-4 with 2.97 ERA (29er, 88.0ip), while walking 41 and striking out 52 in 15 home games ...
