Heisey…resides in Dillsburg, PA with his wife, Lisa...graduated from Donegal High School in Mount Joy, PA. in 2003…attended Messiah College in Grantham, PA, where as a member of the baseball team he established several school records…selected by the Reds in the 17th round of the 2006 First-Year Player Draft.

Made 119 appearances and posted a .222 batting average with eight homers, 22 RBI and nine stolen bases...Led all Major League pinch-hitters with four homers, one shy of Jerry Lynch's single-season Reds club record (1961), while tying for fourth with 11 pinch-hit RBI and tying for seventh with 12 pinch hits...Produced pinch-hit home runs on April 13 vs. Tampa Bay (grand slam off Josh Lueke), July 12 vs. Pittsburgh (2-run off Charlie Morton), Aug. 27 vs. Chicago (solo off Zac Rosscup) and Sept. 6 vs. New York Mets (solo off Dillon Gee)… was the first grand slam of his career...Made 31 starts in left field, 11 starts in center field and 13 starts in right field...As a pinch hitter in the bottom of the ninth inning on April 2 vs St. Louis, the second game of the season, produced a walk off RBI-single off Carlos Martinez that gave the Reds a 1-0 win
