Gorman Charles "Griff" Erickson...has attended the Dodgers' Winter Development Program prior to both of the last two seasons...was a two-sport athlete (baseball and football) at Westview High School in San Diego...selected in the 15th round of the 2006 First-Year Player Draft...signed by Gerric Waller.

Hit .199 with 18 RBI and 10 doubles in 59 games at Double-A Chattanooga, posting a .324 on-base percentage...As a backstop, threw out 34% of potential basestealers (17 CS/ 50 SB)...Hit .278 (10-for-36) with runners on base and two outs…hit three home runs and had 10 RBI.

2011 Hit a combined .293 and set career highs with 13 homers and 66 ERA in 104 games with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga and Double-A Chattanooga ... Selected as a midseason California League All-Star and was the starting catcher in their game against the Carolina League stars ... With Rancho Cucamonga, hit .348 with runners in scoring position (24-for-69) and batted .363 (37-for-102) with runners on base ... Got off to a fast start with the Quakes, hitting .383 in 17 April games, which ranked sixth on the circuit, and following that up with a .326 mark in 25 May games...had a season-long 13-game hitting streak from April 20-May 5 ... Promoted to Chattanooga on July 3, where he hit .308 against right-handers (28-for-91) ... Was at his best late in games with the Lookouts, batting .308 (12-for-39) in the eighth inning and later ...
