Jim William Negrych... Was a two-time All-American at the University of Pittsburgh... Attended St. Francis High School in Athol Springs, NY where was named two-time All-Western New York. 2012 In his 7th professional season spent the majority of the season with Syracuse of the International League (AAA).... Appeared in 91 games with Syracuse and three with Harrisburg (AA)...Combined to hit .270 with 20 extra-base hits, including eight home runs... Walked 43 times in 333 at-bats... Posted four hits on June 30 vs. Norfolk and posted 17 multi-hit games...Played 54 games at 2B, however also appeared at 1B, 3B, LF and DH... Made just four errors...Hit .287 prior to the break and .229 after the break... Hit .309 vs. lefties and .253 vs. righties. 2011 Traded to the Florida Marlins for catcher Carlos Paulino and spent season with Jacksonville (AA)... Was the second time in his career to post an average above .300. 2010 Was named an Milb.com Organizational All-Star in the Pirates system posting a combined .283 average with 18 doubles, five triples, four home runs and 54 RBI for Altoona (AA) and Indianapolis (AAA). 2009 Had his season end prematurely on July 29 when colliding with SS...
