Attended Stetson (DeLand, FL) University studying Sports Management. 2011 Appeared in 81 games at Lehigh Valley (AAA) in the Phillies organization all at shortstop... Hit four home runs for the second consecutive season... PIRATED: Was traded to the Pirates on Aug 2, and played the balance of his season in Indianapolis (AAA)... Saw actiion at both second base (four games) and shortstop (20 games)... Overall on the season, in 97 games posted a .227 average with four home runs and 29 RBI. 2010 Spent the majority of the season with Lehigh Valley (AAA) ... Hit .286 (48-168, 19 RBI, 32 BB) over his final 54 games after batting .179 (38-212, 12 RBI) in his first 66 games ... Batted .394 (13-33, 14 RBI) over a 9-game span, 7/10-21 ...
