2013

Spent time with the Braves and Cincinnati Reds organization in 2013, with the majority of his appearances coming with the Reds Double-A Pensacola and Triple-A Louisville clubs, including 25 of his 30 games played...Combined to hit .216 (19-for-88) between the three stops, with three doubles and a home run...Opened the 2013 campaign with Triple-A Gwinnett and went 5-for-12 (.417) with one double, one home run and four RBI in five games from 4/27-5/9 before being released by the Braves...Joined the Reds organization on 6/14 and was assigned to Pensacola (AA) where he hit .207 (6-for-29) over nine contests. Was transferred to Louisville (AAA) on 7/11 and appeared in 16 games, batting .170 (8-for-47) for the remainder of the season...Was on the disabled list from 8/15-24 with a left thumb sprain...23 of his 30 appearances were starts at catcher...Launched his only home run of the year on 5/9, going 2-for-4 with a double and four RBI...Recorded a season-high four hits on 6/21, with one double and two runs scored.
