Full name is Francisley Trueba Bueno...defected from Cuba in 2004...pitched for two seasons in the Dominican Winter League before signing with the Braves. A member of Cuba¡¦s pre-Olympic roster in 2004 ... pitched six seasons in the Serie Nacional with Industriales and went 26-22 with an ERA of 3.46 in 98 appearances ... teammate of current Rays' shortstop Yunel Escobar with Industriales.

Francisley opened the season in Omaha and had two stints in Kansas City, including all of September ... compiled 8.1 scoreless innings at the Major League level. Earned relief win August 9 vs. Boston, tossing 2.1 innings ... both of his Major League wins have come against the Red Sox. Allowed just two runs in 11 second-half appearances with Omaha, posting an 0.92 ERA over 19.2 innings.
