Struck out a career-high 99 batters in 24 starts, going 8-8 with a 3.87 ERA (63 ER/146.1 IP) with Syracuse...Appeared in one game for Washington, taking the loss after allowing two runs on 5/21 at SF...His eight victories were good for second-most on the Chiefs staff, while his 3.87 ERA tied for the team lead among pitchers with more than 20 starts...Pitched to a 2.97 ERA (13 ER/39.1 ERA) in July, going 3-2 in six starts and striking out 20...Tossed a season-high 8.0 innings on three separate occasions, including a scoreless outing on 5/6, allowing just six hits while racking up nine strikeouts...Made 10 starts for Tigres del Licey of the Dominican Winter League, compiling a 2-4 record with a 2.96 ERA (18 ER/54.2 IP).
