William Daniel Rhymes...is a College of William & Mary alum...was a Second-Team All-Colonial Athletic Association selection as a senior upon leading the CAA with a .413 batting average...played college ball and roomed with twin brother, Jonathan, at William & Mary...playing with the Brewster Whitecaps, was named a Cape Cod League All-Star in the Summer of 2004...enjoys playing the guitar and the violin.

2013

Earned a single-season career-high 65 walks in first season with Syracuse of the Triple-A International League...51 RBI were most recorded in 6 Triple-A campaigns...2 of 3 home runs on the season came in a 3-day span, July 7 at Buffalo and July 9 vs. Buffalo...batted .329 (26-for-79) as Syracuse's designated hitter...hit .318 when hitting leadoff (.333) or in the 3-hole (.313), but just .200 in any other lineup slot.

2012

Played in 47 games during 2 stints with the Rays in lone season in that organization...was recalled by the Rays on May 1 and hit safely in first 4 big league contests at a .357 (5-for-14) clip...started 31 games (21 at 2B, 10 at 3B), during which the Rays went 18-13 (.581)...hit .333 (5-for-15) with RISP and 2 outs...was designated for assignment, Sept. 1.

2011
