Was selected by the Giants in the 17th round of the 2005 draft out of East Carolina University...Played three seasons at ECU (2003-2005)...Was released by the Giants in Spring Training and spent three seasons in independent baseball...2009 split between Winnipeg and Kansas City (Northern League)...2010 played with both Camden (Atlantic League) and Worchester (Can-Am League)...2011 entirely with Worchester (Can-Am League)...Has missed significant time in his career due to injury, with surgeries on his elbow, back and wrist.

2013

Spent the entire campaign at double-A Richmond, batting .309 (137-for-443) with 30 doubles, 10 home runs and 66 RBI in 128 games...Established a new franchise record for batting average (.309) and claimed the Eastern League batting title, narrowly edging Josmil Pinto (.308 - New Britain)...Finished fourth in the league in on-base percentage (.400)...Named to the Eastern League mid-season and Postseason All-Star Teams (postseason selection was as 3rd base)...Made 45 appearances as 3rd, but also appeared at 1st base (30 games), 2nd (10) and in the OF (13)...Named the Eastern League Player of the Week from May 20-27 and was named the Eastern League Player of the Month for May after batting .427 (44-for-103) in the month with 25 RBI...His .427 batting avg. in May established a franchise record for any month of any season…hit safely in 26-of-27 games spanning from April 30-May 30...Recorded a 15-game hit-streak from May 15-30 on the heels of an 11-game hit-streak (April 30-May 13)…the 15-game hit streak was the team-high streak for the season.

2012

Was re-signed by the Giants in May of 2012 and was sent to single-A Augusta, where he appeared in 15 games and batted .250 (13-for-52) with two home runs and 10 RBI...Was promoted to Richmond on June 1 and spent time at 1st base (43 games), DH (14) 2nd base (12), left field (12), right field (7) and 3rd base (4).

2011

Had back surgery before the 2011 season and spent the entire year with Worchester, hitting .328 in 86 games with 15 homeruns and 77 RBI.

2010

Began the 2010 season with the Camden Riversharks of the Atlantic League and appeared in four games…was traded to the Worchester Tornadoes of the Cam-Amleague and appeared in 86 games with Worchester, hitting .317 (103-325) with 12 home runs.

2009

Signed with independent Kansas City T-Bones of the Northern League in 2009...hit .252 (57-for-211) with nine home runs with KC…was traded to the Winnipeg Golden eyes of Northern League on Aug. 18.

2008

Was released by the Giants in Spring Training following an injury that led to Tommy John surgery in 2008...did not play the entire year.

2007

Was limited to just 16 games with San Jose in 2007 due to a wrist injury.
