Mariners place Zych on DL, add Johnson to 'pen

The Mariners placed rookie reliever Tony Zych on the 15-day disabled list with tendinitis in his right rotator cuff before Tuesday night's game against the A's and selected the contract of right-hander Steve Johnson from Triple-A Tacoma to replace Zych in the bullpen.
