Jeffrey Scot Baisley was originally signed by A's scout Steve Barningham...selected in the 12th round of the 2005 First- Year Player Draft...graduated from Land O' Lakes HS (FL) in 2001...attended the University of South Florida...hit .356 with eight home runs and 71 RBI as a senior at USF while setting a school record with 26 doubles in 2005...was a second-team All-Conference USA selection in 2005...finished his four-year career with the Bulls with a .342 batting average. 2011 Was a Pacific Coast League Triple-A All-Star in 2011 and participated in the All-Star Game Home Run Derby ... Went 0-for-2 with a strikeout in July 13 game in Salt Lake City ... Batted .303 with 20 home runs and 100 RBI ... Was hitting .321 with a team-high 102 hits, 17 doubles and 64 RBI at Triple-A All-Star Break and also led Salt Lake with 17 home runs ...
