Graduated from McDonogh HS in Baltimore. 2010 Was shut down with a torn labrum in his right shoulder and had surgery (performed by Dr. Lewis Yocum) on August 13 ... Went 0-10 with a 5.73 ERA (70.2IP, 45ER) in 14 starts with Triple-A Norfolk ... Threw a season-high 7.0 shutout innings (4H, BB, 6K) in a no-decision, May 13 vs. Syracuse ... Struck out a season-high seven batters in 5.0 innings, June 3 at Rochester ... Pitched to a 3.68 ERA (36.2IP, 15ER) in seven road starts and a 7.94 ERA (34.0IP, 30ER) in seven home starts ...
