Selected by the Giants in the 30th round of the 2007 June Draft out of Seminole (Fla.) Community College…previously selected by the Mets in the 49th round of the 2006 June Draft and the Giants in the 27th round of the 2005 June Draft, but did not sign…his father, Johnny Sr., spent 17 years in professional baseball on three continents, and reached as high as Triple-A in the minors.

2017

Signed with the KT Wiz in the Korean Baseball Organization but was released in mid-May after appearing in 28 games…played for the Criollos de Caguas in the Puerto Rican League, his ninth consecutive year of winter ball.

2016

Tied for 1st among Mets minor leaguers with 19 HR and ranked 5th with 75 RBI…spent the entire season with Triple-A Las Vegas.

2015

Had three stints with the Mets: May 5-23, June 23-July 18 and Sep 8 through the end of the season…appeared in 27 games and made 9 starts, all at catcher…had a pair of multi-RBI games, including July 6 at SF, his former team, on a 2-run double in the 9th inning off Santiago Casilla…designated for assignment by the Mets on Dec 18.

2014

Split the season between the Triple-A affiliates of the Orioles and Dodgers, batting .238/.301/ .364 (49-for-206) with 4 HR and 24 RBI…acquired by the Dodgers on May 28 for cash considerations… signed with the Mets as a minor league free agent following the season.

2013

Spent the minor league season with Triple-A Fresno, batting .275/.364/.494 with 20 HR and 64 RBI in 121 games... His 20 HR were tied for 4th most in the Pacific Coast League, as was his 20.75 AB/HR ratio... Led the Grizzlies in HR (20) and walks (59) and was 2nd in runs (71), doubles (27), 3rd in games (121), plate appearances (481),  hits (114), RBI (64) and total bases (205)... Batted .291/.384/.505 in 65 road games... Had his contract selected in September and made ML debut, September 5 vs. ARI... Collected 1st ML hit, run and RBI, September 14 @LAD... Appeared in eight games for SF, going 1-for-8.

2012

Hit .257 (83-323) with 27 doubles, 11 HR and 50 RBI with Double-A Richmond…Led the club with a .449 SLG and tied Juan Perez for the most HR (11) on the club…Threw out 33.8% (23-of-68) of opposing base stealers…Hit .313 (25-80) with five home runs and 15 RBI in 24 games for Criollos de Caguas in the Puerto Rican Winter League.

2011

Was named to the Eastern League Mid-Season All-Star Team with Double-A Richmond…Batted .478 (11-23) in the Eastern League Playoffs.

2010

Appeared in big league camp with San Francisco…Led Class-A San Jose with 19 HR…Was named the California League Player of the Week, July 26-Aug. 1.

2009 Spent entire season with Class-A Augusta and batted .273 (80-for-293) with 8 HRs and 44 RBI in 91 games...at conclusion of season played winter ball for Gigantes de Carolina of Puerto Rican League and hit .242 (8-for-33) in 13 games. 2008 Batted .296 (60-for-203) with 6 HRs and 35 RBI in 54 games between AZL Giants and short-season Salem-Keizer...hit .405 (17-for-42) in 11 games with AZL Giants before being transferred to Volcanoes July 15, where he hit .267 (43-for-161) in 43 contests. 2007 Spent 1st professional season with AZL Giants, hitting .240 (18-for-75) with 3 HRs and 19 RBI in 28 games.
