Beau Matthew Jones...earned Second Team All-American honors at Destrehan HS (LA) and named Louisiana's Mr. Baseball in 2005...was a three-time Class 5A All-State selection...played in the 2004 AFLAC Classic in Aberdeen, MD, that featured current Major Leaguers Ike Davis, Cameron Maybin, Justin Upton, Andrew McCutchen, and Brett Wallace. 2011 Appeared in six games with double-A Frisco in Texas organization prior to being promoted to triple-A Round Rock on April 23. Posted combined record of 0-1 with one save and a 3.29 ERA (68.1 IP/25 ER) in 43 contests...Made season debut on April 7 vs. Springfield, holding Cardinals to just two hits over 2.0 innings...Allowed just four hits in 6.1 innings with RoughRiders before promotion...With Round Rock, went 0-1 with one save and a 3.63 ERA (62.0/25) in 39 games. Tied for third on Club in appearances...His 1.37 WHIP tied for second among Express pitchers to appear in a minimum of 20 games...Allowed just one run over first five games (8.2 IP) before surrendering nine runs in next nine appearances (18.0 IP)...Of 39 appearances, 15 spanned 2.0-or-more innings.
