In 2001, was selected to the All-SEC team and was a First team All-American after leading the country in saves (16) and posting a 1.42 ERA in 32 games (50.2IP)... Was joined on the All-American First team by the likes of Mark Prior (Southern California), Chris Burke (Tennessee), Kirk Saarloos (Fullerton) and John-Ford Griffin (Florida St.)... Makes his offseason home in Justin, Texas. 2007 Made his Major League debut June 19 vs. LAD...Tossed four innings in relief allowing only two hits and one run in four innings...The four innings were a season high by a Jays reliever...First MLstrikeout came against Jeff Kent...MINORS: Began the season at New Hampshire (AA) recording 11 saves in 12 opportunities...Struck out 1.23 batters per innings...Upon his return from Toronto was optioned to Syracuse (AAA)...Held batters to a .217 average in Syracuse, striking out 1.03 batters per inning...
