Spent the season in the Mexican League, pitching out of the bullpen for Yucatan and Laguna...Appeared in seven games with Yucatan, going 0-2 with a 7.50 ERA (5 ER/6.0 IP) and three saves...Made one appearance with Laguna, allowing two runs in 1.0 inning.


Spent his second season with Rakuten of the Nippon Professional Baseball Organization in Japan...Made 52 appearances, good for 15th in the Pacific League...Struck out 42 while allowing just two home runs.


Split the season between Houston's Triple-A club and Rakuten of the NPB in Japan...Started the season with Triple-A Oklahoma City...Appeared in 14 games before the Astros released him on 6/2...Joined Rakuten of NPB to close out the year...
