Spent the majority of his ninth year of professional baseball with the Chicago White Sox organization before joining the Gwinnett (AAA) Braves in mid-August...Between the three stops (CWS, Charlotte and Gwinnett), batted .250 (76-for-304) with 16 doubles, three triples, five home runs and 34 RBI in 91 total games...Began the 2013 season in spring training camp with Houston. Was release by the Astros on 3/26 and became a free agent on 3/28. Signed to a minor-league contract by the Chicago White Sox on 4/4...Spent time between the White Sox and Triple-A Charlotte before being released by Chicago on 8/13 (was designated for assignment on 6/3 and outrighted to Charlotte on 6/5)...Signed by the Braves to a minor-league contract on 8/17 and assigned to Gwinnett.
