Following nearly five seasons in the Majors, reliever Sam LeCure got stunning news in Spring Training that he did not make the Reds' 25-man roster.

Hamilton lands on DL with shoulder injury

The Reds placed center fielder Billy Hamilton on the 15-day disabled list Wednesday with a sprained capsule in his right shoulder. Cincinnati recalled outfielder Brennan Boesch from Triple-A Louisville, and it also selected the contract of reliever Sam LeCure.
