Infielder makes debut on 40-man roster after being part of 1st trade between rival Giants and Dodgers in 22 years...owns lifetime .280 avg. with 65 HRs and 270 RBI in 483 minor league games over 5 campaigns...has logged 3 seasons with batting avg. higher than .280 and has posted double digits in HRs 4 times...came to SF as player to be named later in deal for IF/OF Mark Sweeney in 1st trade between clubs since Dec. 11, 1985, when Giants received OF Candy Maldonado for C Alex Trevino...was originally 21st round pick in 2003 First-Year Player Draft by Los Angeles.
