Ryan Christopher Tucker...graduate of Temple City High in 2005...went 6-4 with a 1.13 ERA in 12 games as a senior with 112 strikeouts, allowing just 35 hits in 68.0 innings...originally selected by Florida as a compensation pick (34th overall) following the first round of the 2005 First-Year Player Draft...signed by Marlins scout John Cole. 2011 Appeared in five games, all in relief, for Texas, going 0-0 with a 7.20 ERA ... In season debut on April 29, struck out three batters at Oakland, allowing no hits and no walks in a scoreless inning ... Contract purchased by Texas from Triple-A Round Rock on April 27 when Darren O'Day was placed on the 60-day disabled list ... Optioned to Round Rock on May 18 and spent the remainder of the season there ... Went 3-5 with a 5.40 ERA for Round Rock in 29 games (eight starts), with two saves. 2010
