Thomas Craig Italiano...graduated from Flower Mound (TX) High School...was originally selected by the A's as a second-round selection in the 2005 First-Year Player Draft as compensation pick (Milwaukee, Damian Miller). 2010 In his first full season in the Padres' organization, pitched the entire campaign at Double-A San Antonio ... did not allow a home run in 52.1 innings. Posted a 2.58 ERA (15 ER/52.1 IP) in 47 games ... tallied 17 saves and finished 34 games. ... En route to being selected to the 2010 Texas League All-Star Game went 4-1 with a 0.72 ERA (3 ER/37.1 IP) with 16 saves over 33 games in the first half of the season. ... Did not allow a run over his first 13 appearances (14.0 IP) from 4/9-5/8. ... Was 3-2 with a 2.00 ERA and seven saves (6 ER/27.0 IP) in 23 home games. ...
