Ryan Kristopher Houston is married to Ingrid...attended Escambia High School...has two brothers...attended Pensacola Junior College...enjoys fishing and makes his offseason home in Pensacola, Florida. 2007 Pitched in a career high 50 games for Triple A Syracuse and led the team in appearances...was 2-2 with a 4.30 ERA and five saves in 50 relief appearances...was second on the club in saves...during the offseason, was 1-0 with a 0.60 ERA in 14 games for the Cardenales de Lara of the Venezuelan Winter League. 2006 Began the season at Double-A, where he went 1-0 with a 2.70 ERA before being promoted to Triple-A Syracuse. ... With the SkyChiefs, went 2-4 with a 3.68 ERA in 46 relief appearances. ... Struck out 79 batters over 72 2/3 innings combined at both Minor League levels. 2005 Was his 2nd season with New Hampshire... Went 3-2 with seven saves and a 2.68 ERA in 33 appearances, including one start... Struck out 50 batters in just 40.1 innings of work... Held opponents to a .183 batting average...
