seasons (2002-03) at Navarro J.C. and one year (2004) at Maryland, where he was named First Team All-ACC at first base.
Was limited to five games (four starts) with Triple-A Indianapolis before having season-ending surgery on
5/4...Pitched 3.0 scoreless innings while making lone relief appearance on 4/14 at Louisville and earned a save...Gave up one run in 5.0ip
and won his start vs. Louisville on 4/23...Gave up eight runs (seven earned) in 2.0 innings while making final start on 4/28 at
Pawtucket...Underwent surgery on 5/4 to repair a torn labrum in his right shoulder; the procedure was performed by Dr. James Andrews
