Sean Frank Kazmar...resides in Avondale, AZ...originally selected by San Diego in the 5th round of the 2004 June draft out of the College of Southern Nevada... made his Major League debut in 2008 with San Diego...singled off CC Sabathia in first MLB at-bat Aug. 13, 2008. 2010 Hit .275 (137x499) in 130 games for Portland (AAA) in the Padres organization... ranked 2nd on the team in hits, doubles, games played and total bases (190)...saw action at shortstop (83 G), second base (42 G) and outfield (2 G)...recorded 38 multi-hit games, including 12 games with 3+ hits...went 5-for-5 with 2 runs and home run Aug. 29 at Tacoma...recorded 2 homers and season-high 5 RBI July 10 at Sacramento...hit .318 (54x170) vs. lefties, and .252 (83x329) vs. right-handed pitching...had strong finish to the season batting .328 (43x131) with 4 home runs and 16 RBI over final 33 games.
