Lance Frederick Zawadzki... Graduated from St. John's High School in Shrewsbury, MA... While at San Diego State, recorded the first-ever hit at San Diego's PETCO Park, doubling off the wall against the University of Houston on March 11, 2004... Was drafted out of high school by the Expos in the 48th round of the 2003 First-Year Player Draft and again by the Cardinals in the 15th round of the 2006 draft, but did not sign. 2012 Spent time between three different clubs in 2012... Appeared in five games with Alburquerque of the Pacific Coast League (AAA), 48 games with Gwinnett of the International League (AAA) and eight contests with Memphis of the Pacific Coast League (AAA)...Began the season in the Los Angeles Dodgers organization at Albequerque (AAA)...Was placed on the DL on April 27 (strained left hamstring) and activated on May 6...Released by the Dodgers and signed with the Atlanta Braves on May 21...Was released by the Braves on July 28 and joined his 3rd organization in 2012, this time with the St. Louis Cardinals on Aug. 10, signing a minor league contract...Was placed on the disabled list (strained left hamstring) on Aug. 20 though the remainder of the season. 2011 Spent the 2011 campaign with Kansas City's Triple-A Omaha in his first season with t he Royals organization ...
