Signed on June 15, 2006 by Rockies scout Ed Santa. 2010 Spent his third season with Double-A Tulsa where he spent the entire season solely in the Drillers starting rotation...Made 26 starts on the season, the fourth straight season he has made at least 22 starts...the 26 starts were most on the team and his 157.0 innings were the second-most...Collected the second-most strikeouts among Driller starters and also recorded the highest ground-out to air-out ratio, at 1.73, on the starting rotation...Tossed at least 6.0 innings in 19 of his 26 outings while 16 of his starts were qualit outings. 2009 Spent a full season at the Double-A level for the first time in his career and went 9-15, 5.23 (156.2 ip, 91 er)...led the club by making 27 starts, and by tossing 156.2 innings...his innings pitched total was the third-most in the Texas League...he also led the league in losses, hits, earned run and home runs allowed...went 5-6, 4.54 (81.1 ip, 41 er) prior to the All-Star break and 4-9, 5.97 (75.1 ip, 50 er) after the break. 2008 Split the season between Modesto and Tulsa, combining to go 8-12, 3.16 (179.2 ip, 63 er)...his 179.2 innings pitched were the most in Minor League Baseball...despite not pitching for Modesto the final month of the season, his 3.05 ERA in the California League was the third-best mark in the circuit...was named the Cal.
