Eddy Rodriguez...attended the University of Miami, where he was teammates with Blake Tekotte, Yonder Alonso, Ryan Braun and former Padres pitcher Cesar Carrillo.

Split the season between Double-A San Antonio (Padres) and Triple-A Tucson (Padres)…combined to throw out 26.3 percent (24-of-91) of attempted base stealers and hit 6 home runs.

2012

Saw his first big league action with the Padres and hit a home run in his first career plate appearance, Aug 2 at CIN off Johnny Cueto…appeared in 2 games for San Diego…spent most of the season with Class-A Lake Elsinore where he hit .223 (73-for-328) with 13 homers and 36 RBI.
