Wesley Michael Hodges...Engaged to Katie Champlin...Resides in Chattanooga, Tenn...Was selected by the Indians in the 2nd round with the 69th overall pick out of Georgia Tech University in 2006...Batted .337 (69-205) with 49 runs scored, 19 doubles, 11 home runs and 64 RBI in 54 games as a junior while being named to the Atlantic Coast Conference 2nd Team (season slowed by a lower leg fracture after being a pre-season All-American selection)...As a sophomore was named a 1st Team All- ACC Selection...Selected in the 13th round of the 2003 First-Year Player Draft by the Chicago White Sox, but elected to enroll at Georgia Tech...Ended GT career with a .352 (231-656) average...Was a four-year letterwinner as a shortstop at the Baylor School in Chattanooga...All-state selection in 2002 and 2003...Hit .430 with one home run and 20 RBI as a senior in leading Baylor to the Tennessee state championship...Enjoys fishing, golfing and hunting...
