Full name is Jason Thomas Donald...Graduated from Buchanan High School in Clovis, Calif., in 2003...lettered in both baseball and football...named All-State in baseball twice and in football as a senior...Selected by the Anaheim Angels in the 20th round of the 2003 June Free Agent Draft, but did not sign...Named a Freshman All-American during his first season (2004) at the University of Arizona.

Jason spent the entire 2013 season with Louisville (AAA) in the Cincinnati Reds' organization...limited to 78
games after missing five weeks of action with a right shoulder injury, going on the disabled list April 28...Hit .310 (13-for-42) with five doubles and a homer over his first 10 games...but just .202 (42-for-208) in his final 68 contests.
