High in 2004. 2010 Missed the fi rst two months of the campaign as he continued to recover from Tommy John surgery...made his 2010 debut on June 15 for Wilmington (A Advanced). ...Got his first look at Double-A for NW Arkansas, pitching well down the stretch in helping the Naturals win the second-half division title and the Texas League championship. 2009 Missed a majority of the season with injuries...appeared in just four games in June for Class A Advanced Wilmington, allowing 5 runs in 3.2 innings. 2008 Posted the best season of his young professional career for Wilmington...struck out 78 in 57.2 innings over 42 relief appearances, 12.17 strikeouts per 9 innings...Recorded the most strikeouts in the Carolina League among relievers who did not make a start...Held right-handed hitters to a .199 average (28-for-141) with just 1 home run allowed...Was nearly unhittable at home, posting a 1.07 ERA in 22 appearances...struck out 43 in 33.2 innings...Added to the Royals 40-man roster on November 20, 2008.
