Adam C. Carr...was a Big-12 first-team All-Conference selection in 2005 upon leading the Big XII in homers (22) and RBI (86)...also garnered 3rd team All-American honors in '05...prior to OSU, played 2 seasons at West Valley Junior College (CA)...there, was named an All-American by the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association. 2010 Finished 6-2 with 14 saves and a 2.75 ERA in 53 appearances with Syracuse of the Triple-A International League and Harrisburg of the Double-A Eastern League...posted a 2.08 ERA in 10 appearances in the Arizona Fall League. 2009 Pitched for Harrisburg and Potomac of the Single-A Carolina League for the 3rd straight season...posted a 6.18 ERA in 32 combined appearances/11 starts...with Potomac, went 2-6 with a 5.75 ERA in only 11 starts of pro career. 2008 Fanned 8.7 batters per 9.0 innings and paced Washington minor leaguers with 16 saves. 2007 Led Single-A Carolina League in ERA (min. 35 appearances)...finished tied for 7th in CL with 10 saves...combined to strike out 78 batters in 60.2 innings, an average of 11.6 strikeouts per 9.0 innings with Potomac and Harrisburg. 2006 Excelled in his first professional season, striking out 27 batters in 25.2 innings pitched (9.5 strikeouts per 9.0 innings) for Savannah of the Single-A South Atlantic League and the Rookie-level GCL Nationals...upon being drafted as a pitcher, asked to be granted exposure as a part-time DH and hit well, batting .302 (19-for-63) with 3 home runs, 5 doubles and 12 RBI in just 32 games at the 2 levels.
