Jonathan Paul Arencibia…participated in the Rangers 2014 Winter Caravan after taking part in Toronto's winter tour each of the previous 3 years…is engaged to Kimberly Perry, the lead vocalist of the country music band The Band Perry and spent part of the off-season touring with the band.


Started 115 games at catcher and 3 as the DH in his final season with Toronto…set career highs for games (138) and at bats (474)…ranked 2nd on the club in at bats, was 3rd in games, and placed 5th in homers (21), RBI (55), and total bases (173)…had a team high 148 strikeouts…had the lowest batting average (.194) and on-base percentage (.227) among all major league players with at least 450 at bats…played for the United States in the World Baseball Classic, going 1-for-5 in 2 games.
