Graduated from Pleasant Valley High School in Chico, Calif...played college baseball for Feather River Community College in Spring Garden, Calif...resides in Tucson, Arizona. 2009 Acquired in an outright trade (4/25) and made 24 starts for Memphis (AAA), throwing 5.0 IP or more in every start...Made instant impression with an 0.95 ERA (3 ER, 28.1 IP) in first four starts posting a 2-1 record with 20 K and only two walks...Led the Pacific Coast League with a career-high165.2 innings pitched (14.2 with Reno) and was 2nd with 1.24 BB/9 IP ratio...Finished the season with four consecutive wins in starts from 8/22 to 9/6...Tied P.J.
