Mark Rogers and his wife Kerrie have a daughter named Ellyette…graduated from Mount Ararat (ME) High School, where he played baseball, soccer and hockey.

2013

Spent entire season in minors after being placed on 60-day disabled list on March 25, splitting time with AA Huntsville, High-A Brevard County and the Arizona League Brewers, making 12 appearances including seven starts…activated from the DL on Aug. 30…made two starts for Bravos de Margarita in the Venezuelan Winter League.
 

2012 Spent most of the season at Triple-A Nashville, where he went 6-6 with a 4.72 ERA in 18 starts. Was recalled by Milwaukee on 7/28 following the trade of Zack Greinke to the Angels. Earned his fi rst Major League win in a 9-5 victory on 8/20 vs. Chicago-NL (5ip, 5h, 3r, 3er, 3bb, 7k, 1hr). Struck out 41 batters in just 39.0 innings with the Brewers. The team went 3-4 in his starts ... was the victim of 3 blown saves. Won his last 3 starts of the season, posting a 2.35 ERA (15.1ip, 4er) ... did not pitch after 8/31. 2011 Went 0-5 with a 9.34 ERA in 15 games (13 starts) between Triple-A Nashville, Class-A Brevard County and the Rookie Arizona Brewers. Was on the disabled list from 4/28-5/12 and 5/23-7/26 with carpal tunnel syndrome in his right wrist ... returned to the disabled list on 8/15 before being suspended on 8/19. Received a 25-game suspension on 8/19 after a second positive test for a stimulant in violation of Major League Baseball's Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.
