Dusty Mitchell Ryan graduated from Golden Valley High School in 2002...Attended Merced Junior College...Hobbies include hunting and biking. 2010 Spent the entire season with Portland (AAA) of the Pacific Coast League...Played 68 games at catcher and 12 as the designated hitter...Also had nine at-bats as a pinch-hitter, collecting one hit (.111)...Hit .296 (29-98) after the All-Star break with three home runs and 17 RBI...Hit a grand slam on August 26 at Tacoma. 2009 Made two stints with the Tigers after beginning the season with Triple-A Toledo.
