Dallas Neal Trahern...attended Owasso High School (OK), where he earned State Player of the Year honors after his senior season, going 11-0 with 1.37 ERA while hitting .450 with 13 home runs and 54 RBI....also named Second-Team High School All-American by Baseball America. 2008 In injury plagued season, went 5-11 with 6.16 ERA at triple-A Albuquerque...had two stints on the Disabled List; April 3-21 and July 20-27...Started season dropping first five decisions from April 29-June 2...allowed season-high 11 hits and eight runs on May 4 vs. Tucson...After surrendering 10 home runs over his first four starts, spread out other 10 homers through his final 17 games...Tossed a season-best 8.0 innings on August 23 vs. New Orleans, allowing one run on 10 hits with no walks and six strikeouts. In five June starts, went 3-1 with a 4.08 ERA (28.2 IP/13 ER)...Had contract selected by Marlins on November 20, 2008.
