Scott Daniel Richmond... Married... Played collegiate baseball at Oklahoma State... Was named to the 2008 Canadian Olympic Baseball Team... Was a member of Canada's World Baseball Classic entry in 2009, however, did not appear in a game. 2011 Pitched to one batter for the Blue Jays in 2012 retiring the only batter he faced at LAA on April 10... A SEASON IN VEGAS: Spent most of the season in the Las Vegas rotation, appearing 26 games (20 starts)... Recorded only two quality outings in his 20 starts... Posted a 7.84 ERA as a starter... BETTER DAYS IN 'PEN: Finished the season in the 51s bullpen making six releif appearances, posting a 1.86 ERA over 9.2 innings. 2010 Made nine appearances (eight starts), all in the minors after rehabbing a shoulder impingement that recurred in the spring... Combined to go 4-1 in those games with a 1.98 ERA, allowing only 29 hits in 41 innings... Returned to the hill June 10 and made five appearances for Dunedin (A), before moving to New Hampshire (AA)... Made two starts at New Hampshire and two at Las Vegas (AAA) to conclude regular season... Returned to New Hampshire for the postseason, taking the loss in his only start on Sept. 18, despite tossing seven innings and allowing only three runs. 2009 In his first full season appeared in 27 games, making 24 starts... STARTING STRONG: Started the season with a 4-0 record, and was the first Blue Jays rookie pitcher to do so since Gustavo Chacin in 2005... Won A.L. He was 10th in the Northern League in ERA... Joined Team Canada for the Baseball World Cup... Was 0-2 with a 9.39 ERA, taking two of Canada's 3 losses. 2006 Was 3-7 with 8 saves and a 3.03 ERA in Edmonton (Independent League), striking out 72 while walking only 17 in 71 1/3 innings and allowing just 53 hits... .He led Edmonton in ERA; had he qualified, he would have ranked 4th in the Northern League... Pitched out of the bullpen, except for his debut of the season, his only start, 5/22 (7.1IP, 9H, 6ER, BB, K)... Held opponents to a .191 avg. out of the bullpen (44-230)... RH hitters were held to a .176 mark (30-170). 2005 In his first season with the Edmonton Crackers Cats (Independent) pitched to a 1-4 record with a 6.25 ERA in 20 appearances (seven starts)... Made his first start 7/25, going three scoreless inning, allowing only one hit... As a starter was 1-2 with a 7.41 ERA... Out of the bullpen recorded a 0-2 record with four saves and a 4.68 ERA.
