Jesus Andres Delgado...graduated from U.E. Torres Bina in 2002...enjoys working out, video games and the beach...he and his wife, Eneiry, were married during the offseason. 2006 Went 2-4 with 2.52 ERA in 28 games with Jupiter (A)...missed more than three months with right latissimus (back muscle) strain...went on Disabled List on June 16 and missed remainder of season...Won first decision of season on April 12 vs. Vero Beach, recording one strikeout in 1.0 inning...lost next three decisions between April 20 and May 23...did not allow an earned run in May, going 0-1 in 10 games (15.0 innings)...picked up second win on June 8 at Brevard County with scoreless inning (1 BB). 2005 Spent entire season with Greenville (A), where he went 7-3 with two saves and 3.50 ERA in 33 games... recorded 69 strikeouts in 72.0 innings... finished seven games...
