Michael Ross Megrew...was an All-State standout at Chariho High School in Rhode Island...was named a Rawlings Second- Team All-American as a senior...also played football as a wide receiver and safety his junior and sophomore years...originally signed by Dodger scout John Kosciak. 2006 • Was initially placed on the disabled list by the Florida Marlins with a left shoulder injury, retroactive to March 24
• Was returned to the Dodger organization and activated from the disabled list by the Florida Marlins on April 14
• After taking part in extended Spring Training, made his season debut on June 8, going 0.2 innings and walking three without allowing a run
• Finished the year 2-3 with a 3.52 ERA (21 ER/53.2 IP) in 18 games (eight starts) for Single-A Vero Beach...struck out 62 and walked 44
