First name is pronounced "uh-NURR-ee," and rhymes with blurry...Signed with Colorado as a 17-year-old non-drafted free agent out of the Dominican Republic on Feb. 3, 2005...signed by Rockies scouts Felix Feliz and Rolando Fernandez...Is one of two Rule 5 draftees participating in Astros Spring Training (also, RHP Lance Pendleton)...the Astros last Rule 5 selection to stick with the club the entire season was LHP Wesley Wright in 2008...Added to the Astros 40-man roster after being drafted in the 2010 Major League portion of the Rule 5 Draft... if he does not make the Astros 25-man roster following Spring Training, he must be offered back to Tampa Bay. 2011 In his first Major League action, pitched 85.1 innings across 43 games, including eight starts...went 0-4 with a 5.80 ERA (26ER/40.1IP) in eight starts and 1-2 with a 4.80 ERA (24ER/45IP) in 35 relief appearances...posted a 3.55 ERA (18ER/45.2IP) in 21 road games (four starts)...spent the entire season on the Astros roster...began the year in the Astros bullpen, making 9 apps.
